Well, another semester is almost over and once again it has gone by incredibly fast...some highlights from the semester include: driving to my roommate's house for the weekend with a bunch of friends, teaching horseback riding at HoneyRock for a weekend, IM dodgeball games, and that's all my brain can think of right now...in general, I've been more spontaneous this semester than I have ever been. For example, I randomly decided to go into Chicago today at the last minute so I could see the German Christmas market. I've been missing Germany so much lately and while this wasn't exactly like anything you would see in Germany it did bring back many wonderful memories. God has been so faithful this semester...especially with friendships. He always provides the right friends when you need them. He knows our needs so much better than we know our own. It reminds me of the verse that says that he works all things together for good for those who love him and are called according his purpose. He also has continued to deepen my friendships with my close girlfriends which I am so thankful for. In terms of school work, this semester has been the most challenging. I'm taking all science courses including chemistry and human anatomy (very interesting!). I feel like I've learned so much though! Some semesters I look back on and I wonder to myself what I actually learned, but not this semester! I finally feel like I'm studying something that I enjoy and understand! I'm going to have to start applying to Nursing schools soon...hard to believe. When I first started college I would never have imagined that I would have applied to Nursing...There is a lot of work to be done before that. Since I changed my major late, I'm going to have to take some classes over the summer (microbiology and organic chemistry!) It's going to be very difficult, but it will be an adventure to take classes in Hawaii...I'm looking forward to spending the summer with my family again as well. I'm realizing that as I get older, the time that I spend with my family is going smaller and smaller. It's sad, but I guess that is part of growing up. Well, I think that's it for now...here's some photos Me and Emily representing Wheaton
